Eric De Boef, DDS

Dr. Eric De Boef opened Town Square Dental Care in 2003, right after he graduated from University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He purchased Dr. Mummey’s dental practice in Montezuma in 2012 and named it Diamond Trail Dental. He grew up in rural Iowa and is privileged to be practicing in the same county in which he was raised. Growing up in a tight-knit farming family instilled in him the values of faith, family, hard work, integrity, social stewardship and laughter.

To give back, Dr. De Boef has participated in a dental mission program to Guatemaula, and he participates in local programs which provide low-to-no cost dental care to underserved patients.

Eric and his wife, Amy, have been blessed with six children. Eric is actively involved in his church and passing on his values to his family. He enjoys farming and seasonal outdoor activities, whether they be work or play. He also enjoys sports and is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Kara Weishaar, DDS

Kara Weishaar, DDS, is a 2013 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and a life-long resident of Oskaloosa, Iowa. She is happy to return “home” and serve the patients in central Iowa.

As a child, Dr. Weishaar liked going to the dentist and she strives to create the same gentle and trusting environment with her patients. She enjoys working with people of all ages, including young children. In her spare time, Dr. Weishaar enjoys reading, baking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Weishaar graduated valedictorian from Oskaloosa High School in 2005. She completed her undergrad studies at the University of Northern Iowa in December of 2008, graduating with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in chemistry. In 2009, she married Josh Weishaar from Reasnor, Iowa and began studying dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

Dr. Weishaar and her husband, Josh Weishaar, from Reasnor, IA, have enjoyed settling in Oskaloosa. They look forward to giving back to the communities that were such a large part of their growth and development. They’ve added a baby and a puppy to their family since moving back home.

Bryn Boswell, DDS

Dr. Bryn Boswell acquired a drive and passion for dentistry in large part from spending time with his two older brothers, who are both dentists themselves. Dentistry runs in the family for the Boswell boys. Bryn graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2017. He spent the past 2 years practicing in rural northern Wisconsin. Life in the northwoods has been great, but Bryn and Lauren have a desire to be closer to family and raise their own family back in Iowa. The Boswells are very excited to be a part of TSDC and the Oskaloosa community!

Dr. Boswell was born and raised in Pella. He stayed in the area and attended Central College. While at Central, Bryn captained his tennis team, studied abroad in Spain, Mexico and England, and was involved in campus ministries through local service and mission trips. Bryn and his wife Lauren have a daughter named Quinn, who was born in May of 2018. Lauren grew up in a farming family near Tama/Toledo, and received her masters of nursing from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Boswell loves to travel, spend time with family, and plays a variety of sports. He also enjoys biking, movies, reading, and being outdoors. He has a desire to put patients first, help people, and be a positive contributor the community.

Dr. Boswell has a commitment to continuing education and life-long learning to provide the best care. Through his sense of humor and outgoing personality, he strives to make his patients comfortable and enjoy their dental experience
